Shooting Disciplines

Bisley Field Target Organisation offers a wide range of the most popular air rifle and air pistol shooting disciplines, catering to all levels of skill and experience. Members can enjoy practicing these disciplines recreationally or take part in structured competitions held regularly at the club. BFTO also has a proud tradition of competing nationally, with dedicated teams representing the club at events across the country and hosting visiting teams in return. This active participation helps members develop their skills while fostering a strong sense of community and sportsmanship. Hunter Field Target, in particular, is a major focus, with many members competing at the highest levels and achieving excellent results both individually and as part of the club’s successful teams.

All disciplines at BFTO actively welcome new competitors. Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to refine existing skills, you’ll find plenty of support, encouragement, and advice from experienced members. The club holds quite literally thousands of years of combined shooting experience among its membership, creating an unmatched environment for learning and progression.
